BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Andrew’s Church, North Weald Bassett

Faint lines. Shows 6am to 6pm in half and quarter hours. Lines drawn from rectangle around root. Possible inscription in panel at top of dial or in rectangle. Evidence of chapter ring but only X, IIII and V numerals discerned. Simple bar gnomon with downward supporter. Dial clamped on brick buttress and slightly overlapping it.
