BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Suffolk

Horizontal sundial on pedestal in the north-east corner of thechurchyard. The dial shows the hours from 4am to 8pm in 30, 15 and 5 min marks. Half hour markers have inward pointing fleurs de lys. There is an 8-point compass rose at the centre of the dial and the gnomon has a stepped back edge and two semicircular side supports. The pedestal has memorial inscriptions around the chamfered edge of the capital and base.
