BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Suffolk

This is a memorial sundial set on a slim baluster pedestal on a grave. The dial shows the hours in Arabic numerals from 4am to 8pm with 30, 15 and 7.5 minute marks. The hour lines emanate from a circle around the 8-point star having a sunface at the centre. The gnomon is missing. Around the outer edge the motto reads: "Set me right and use me well and I ye time to you will tell". There is a memorial inscription around the base of the pedestal.
