BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Essex
Shows 5am to 7pm in half and quarter hours. Half hours marked by inward arrows with both head and flights. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from inside the dial. Noon gap. Large circle at gnomon root. Time scales end in scrolls at S of dial. Three hole fixing. Substantial gnomon with unusual ’curly E’ supporter and near full length side supports. All set on an oversize round, white capital stone (made for owner) set in turn on a cylindrical column and circular base. Dial purchased in Suffolk but Design Lat is 53 deg 22 min.
