BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Cecilia’s Church, Adstock

Rectangular vertical dial over the south porch. The dial shows 6am to 6pm in hours, with vertical Roman numerals, not all now legible. Uses IV at 4pm. The inscription reads "TE 1581". Notes in the church also date the dial as 1581. The strip gnomon is in the form of an open triangle with one supporter.
