BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Kent

This is a circular memorial dial on a square plate, with a false date of 1701. The plate is cast bronze, with all furniture in relief. It shows 5am to 7pm [Delin 6:30 - 7:30] in half and quarter hours, using XII and IIII, the numerals read from outside the dial, with a noon gap. Eight marked compass directions, the cardinal ones in the chapter ring and the others inside of it. Four intersecting circles in the dial centre with 2 horses and riders as décor. Four hole fixing in spandrels. Set on slender square section rough cast column with square capital and two step base.
