BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
The house is in the east side of the road (the A413). The motto reads: "Carpe Diem". Rectangular slate dial with convex curves to top and bottom. Sunface at top right, Moon at bottom left. EoT graph at lower centre. Time correction for seven days either side of Full Moon given at lower right. Declination lines for solstices and equinoxes. 3am hour line above the horizon. Shows 4am to 2pm [Delin 3am to 2pm] in hours. Zodiac symbols between declination lines. Roman numerals with closing bars top and bottom and using the 24 hr clock. Uses XII and IV. Numerals aligned vertically. Inscr gives Lat as 51:38 and states "South East" though the design declination is not 45 degs and dial declines nearly SW. No correction for longitude..
