BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Devon

Motto reads: "Carpe Diem". This on South face. East, South and West faces only. Slate dials set on a brick/stone cube. Triangular gnomon like feature on the top face but this is ornament only. South face shows 6am to 6pm in half and quarter hours. White lines and lettering on slate ground. Inward diamond ended half hour markers. Rod gnomon with no supporter. East face shows 4am to 11am in hours (6am not numbered), sun and gambolling lamb motif. Bar gnomon. West face shows 1pm to 8pm in hours (6pm not numbered) again with sun and lamb motif. Bar gnomon.
