BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Andrew’s Church, Boxford

Vertical south-facing dial high on the church tower. The modern dial is fixed over a much earlier dial, possibly dating from the 1690 building of the tower, and within the original stone surround. It shows 6am to 6pm with Arabic numerals for 9am, 12 noon and 3pm only, full length hour lines and half hour marks. Dated 2000 under the gnomon. All lines and numerals are engraved and painted white. The dial is fixed to the wall with four screws. Replaces SRN 4252
