BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Oxfordshire

Motto reads: "Hora Fugit". Shows 5am to 7pm in half hours. Uses XII and IV. Numerals read from outside the dial. Noon gap. Long inward pointing half hour lines with double arrows at outside edge. Large circle round gnomon root. Three hole fixing. Open gnomon aligned to bisect the sides of the octagon has shallow ’S’ supporter. Set on octagonal column with octagonal capital and (large) base, in the rear garden.
