BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St James’ Church., Long Marston

On the South wall of the nave is a stone vertical south dial. It has no numerals, just scratched hour lines and a fairly modern open strip gnomon and supporter. Lines probably indicate 7am to 3pm in hours. There is a small, earlier gnomon to the upper left of this one but there are no signs of any dial plate. There are two mass dials on the church also.
