BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Kent Life, Sandling, Maidstone

This dial is in the garden. It shows hours from 8am to 5pm in hours. There are small numerals at the dial edge. Roman numerals use the form XII and IV, all read from inside the dial. The word Cobtree in capitals at the dial south. Hour lines are not accurately laid out. It has a thin pierced gnomon. The dial is set on a short (800mm high) square section pedestal with rounded corners.
