BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
On the tower, too high to see clearly, is this Saxon sundial measuring about 500mm in diamteter. In spite of what Mrs Gatty writes (The Book of Sundials, 1900) it was almost certainly been moved to this position in 1874 when a porch was turned into a vestry. Ten lines are visible though ’Noon’ is poorly marked and two are above the horizon. Some of these lines may be later additions since Saxon dials usually divided the day into four ’tides’ rather than into hours.
