BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Jersey

The dial is on the right at the lower end of the steps leading up to the lighthouse, which was the first reinforced concrete lighthouse in the British Isles. Open bar gnomon with horizontal supporter. Faint lines at Noon and 11am only. Some staining at the Noon line. Gnomon angle 39 degs. In front of dialplate is a horizontal surface containing a compass rose. The date is established approximately by Jersey archive photos, some of which show the dial.
