BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St James’ Church, West Hanney

Rectangular vertical south-facing dial high on the south transept gable. A very simple dial facing due south. It has full length hour lines from gnomon root to chapter ring. There are no finer divisions. The vertical Roman hour numerals from 6am to 6pm have a cross patty at noon and IIII at 4pm. The simple strip gnomon has a single straight supporter. The dial has been renovated since the first BSS record of 1996. There is also a memorial dial in the churchyard but it is of poor quality and missing gnomon.
