BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in London (Greater)

The dial is in the Treasury crypt. Rowley made three dials for the Cathedral to accompany the clock. (Another is SRN 2196). Shows 4am to 8pm in intervals down to 7.5 and I mins. Fleur de lys half hour markers. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from outside. Minutes ring in Arabic Nos (10s). Gnomon pierced with ’D’ motif.
