BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
On the south wall of the shop next to the Lord Nelson public house.
Dial set about five degrees to the wall with a top cornice moulding. Shows 6 am to 6 pm in hours. Uses XII and IIII. Black (partially) infilled numerals on stone. No hour lines visible. Strip gnomon with single supporter.
