BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Oxfordshire

This is a lead dial plate with dotted hour lines and surface mounted two leg near solid sheet lead gnomon. It is set on a slender baluster pedestal on a square plinth block with three hole fixing. It shows 7am to 7pm in half and quarter hours, with small numerals using XII and IIII, and marked to show BST. The motto reads: "Festina Lente".
