BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Church of St James, Colesbourne

The dial is set on a 2m square two step plinth with a 1m square squat column, 4 m to the south of the chancel (and not immediately obvious as a dial!) Hour lines are just visible on all three faces. The south face (Roman) shows 6 am to 6 pm. The east face (Arabic) shows 4 am to 10 am, and the west face (Arabic) shows 2 pm to 8 pm. The south face uses a cross for noon.
