BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Garth House, Rochester

This dial is in the garden to the south of Garth House. A photo of 2004 shows a thin sheet gnomon with deeply cut back rear edge, rounded tip and four hole piercing. The same design can be found at sundial reference SRN 7392, Coughton, Warwickshire. Photos of 2012 onwards show a similarly shaped thin gnomon but with no piercings. The dial is set on the square stone top of a baluster pedestal 1000mm high.
