BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Christ Church (3), Oxford

The dial is on a buttress behind the SCR. The furniture is incised on the fresh buttress stone, most infilled in black. Across the top is ’2002 / 51 45 North 1 15 West’, left unfilled. The dial shows 6am to 6pm in upright Arabic hour numerals with short orphaned hour lines between the gnomon root and the chapter ring. The solid sheet metal gnomon has undercutting to the lower edge.
