BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary the Virgin Church, Weston-on-the-Green

This square vertical declining dial is located at the western end of the chancel, to the left hand side of the south entrance porch. The dial plate appears not to be badly eroded, but no lines or digits are visible, so it may have been painted rather than incised. It is on a wall that declines 12 degrees east of due south, hence the gnomon (a simple metal strip with a straight horizontal supporter) slopes down to the left. A narrow stone over the dial bears the date ’1758’ and above this is a drip ledge.
