BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial House, Harrietsham

The dial is below the eaves on the south wall of the house. The motto above the dial reads: ’Sic Transit Gloria Mundi’. It has black lines on white ground and a black border with gold numerals. Hours are shown from 8am to 7pm in half hours. Vertical Roman numerals use the form XII and IIII. There is a gold flaming sun around the gnomon root. The gnomon has a disc nodus and there are 7 declination lines with zodiacal symbols. Inaccuracies of delineation are perhaps due to repainting. Date is presumably that of the original dial.
