BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Court Lodge, Harrietsham

The dial is on the south wall of the building. A motto at the top of the dial reads: ’Work Today, Play Tomorrow’. There is a semicircle around the gnomon root. Hours are shown from 6am to 6pm in half and quarter hours. Delineated 7:08 to 6:52. Vertical Roman numerals use the form XII and IV. The hour lines extend through the numerals and there is no noon gap. The finger pointed gnomon strip is heavily undercut. The dialplate is of painted white stone with a drip ledge over.
