BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Kent

The dial is at second floor level over the porch. In 2002, the owner was considering relocating it to the south wall of a rear west wing. It has black lines and numerals on a white painted ground. It shows 6am to 6pm in half and quarter hours, using XII and IV, and has short (inward) hour lines. Ref: "A saunter through Kent" C Igglesden, Vol 18, 1925. mmm
