BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Kent

The dial is in the walled courtyard. It shows 10 am to 5pm in half hours, using XII and IV, the meridian being marked by numeral I. The mottoes read: "Carpe Diem", "Hora / Vespertina / Adest", "Horas Nisi Serenas Non Numero", "Pereunt et Imputantur", "Omnes Vulnerant Ultima Secat". There is a crescent moon in the right lower corner. The date, delineation and gnomon angle are suspect.
