BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Crossways Lodge, Ickleton

The offset gnomon and slanting hour lines give and energetic life to this circular slate dial, designed in 1993 by Quin Hollick when Crossways Lodge was built. The initials WW are for the owners, Warren Wilson, and a small letter Q below the gnomon root signifies the name of the maker.
