BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hereford & Worcester

This War Memorial dial unusually shows the hours III - XII - IV - IX divided into halves and quarters. (Most dials south of Scotland only show the hours from 4am to 8pm). Hour lines before 6am and after 6pm drawn full length. Numerals are read from inside the chapter ring. The solid back cut gnomon has full length side supports. The dial is mounted on a large granite memorial pillar.
