BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Pendrell Hall Cottage, Codsall Wood

The dial is in the garden, set on a tapered square section stone pedestal 1230h with square capital. The motto reads: "Vivit memoria fugit hora". Figure of Hope and Anchor with word ’SPES’. Shows 5am to 7pm in 30, 15 and 5 min marks. Initials ’F G’ on the ornate gnomon are for Frank Gaskell who bought and renovated the Hall in 1910.
