BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St John the Baptist’s Church, Burford

Gnomon of a (now missing or indistinct) dial, high on the tower. The dial, which faces south-east, was painted at one time but nothing can be seen now. All that remains is the strip gnomon, bent out of its correct orientation, with a broken horizontal supporter.
