BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Stonehouse, Kilmuir

Stonehouse is on the N shore of Cromarty Firth. A simple format dial with 8ft high solid triangular gnomon with clan insignia engraved on the seaward side and double zigzag décor on the gnomon edge. It shows 6am to 6pm but is possibly also delineated from 4am to 8pm. Believed to use XII and IIII. Nearby plaque.
