BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Suffolk

The dial is on the terrace at the rear of the Hall, set on a slender limestone baluster pedestal with square top and base. It shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15, 10 and 5 min marks, using XII and IIII, with a split noon line. The numerals are read from inside the dial. The motto reads: "Amydst ye fflowres I tell ye houres". There is floral décor round the four fixings in the spandrels. ’S’ shaped gnomon supporter.
