BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
A south facing stone sundial located between the 1st floor windows west of the door. The motto in raised letters reads: ’Tempus Fugit’. The dial is flanked by pilasters, architrave, frieze and cornice surmounted by a rose and scroll décor. The date is on the stylobate. The hours are shown in Roman numerals from 7am to 5pm with hour lines delineated between 6am and 6pm with half and quarter hours. The numeral format uses XII and IIII. There is a double semicircle at root of a sturdy brass gnomon with rain release supporter. The dial is supported by two corbels having decorated bosses.
