BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Kent

The dial is set on a square section panelled pedestal 1315h with square top and base, in the east border of the front lawn. It has an EoT scale of the Watch faster/slower type, with zero on Sep 1st and Apr 15th. The days are numbered 10, 20 30. The dial shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 10 and 2 min marks, using XII and IIII, with a noon gap. The numerals are read from outside the dial and aligned with hour lines. There is a sturdy gnomon with sigmoidal back edge and two side supporters. The dialplate has a chamfered edge.
