BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Trevone Hotel, Llandudno

The dial is of the equatorial type and is located at the rear of the hotel. It shows the time from 4am to 8pm in half hours, with points marking the half hours. The gnomon is of the arrow type. The dial is set on decorated circular section column with circular capital incised with an 8 point compassrose. The whole is set among a circle of stones also marking the four points of the compass.
