BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The George Inn, Aylburton

On gable end, facing the road. Circular dial inset into stone block wall. Gold numerals and gold ’flame’ hour lines alternated with blue tapering lines all on white stone ground. Barley twist tapered unicorn horn style gnomon. Shows 6 am to 5 pm.
