BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Peter & St Paul’s Church, Scarning

Motto reads: "Behold now is the accepted time". (Ref to II Corinthians Ch VI v2). Shows 6am to 6pm in half and quarter hours. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals in line with hour lines. Noon gap. Solid gnomon with ’S’ shaped supporter. Slight error in design or delineation with gnomon vertical and horizon line not quite horizontal. Biblical reference above is given in a semicircular annulus around the gnomon root. Located over south porch.
