BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Jersey

Breakarch dialplate having square dial in the lower part. Date is in the arch together with the Initials IPB (or JPB). Shows 6am to 6pm in half hours. Uses XII and (probably) IV. All lines drawn from gnomon root but half hours are shorter. Gnomon is of metal rod bent to form gnomon and supporter. Gnomonic side is bent near the root. Held to wall by six iron cleats.
