BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial House, Garboldisham

Date is at top of circular dial plate above front door. Gnomon root at top of furniture circle with hour lines (and half hours) emanating from circle’s periphery. Two hour lines above the horizontal, none on the horizontal and 12 noon not below gnomon root. Numbered to show 7am to 6pm in half hours with vertical being close to 1pm. Numerals in line with hour lines. Surface mounted rod gnomon appears to be formed from a barley twist rod with one supporter and scroll under décor.
