BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church, Wetherden

Wooden sundial over South entrance into nave. The dial is very badly worn, and although protected by lead sheeting above is otherwise almost unreadable. The gnomon is missing. There are traces of numerals and even of a motto across the top, as well as a possible sunburst at the gnomon root. It shows from 6am to 5pm in half and quarter hours. The markings appear in relief suggesting that the dial was once painted.
