BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Kent

By the gate. Two displaced circular scales. Main one marked summer shows BST (6am to 8pm in half and quarter hours) inner one marked winter shows GMT(6am to 6pm in half hours). 8pt compass to W of gnomon. Maker’s name in balancing plaque to right. Inscription is a memorial to Michael Chapman d1993. EoT graph. Sigmoidal gnomon with side décor. Set on tapered brick pedestal 800h on older circular brick step.
