BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Sts Peter & Paul’s Church, Charing

The dial is mounted on the south battlements. It is canted to the east, but still declines 19W. Mottoes read: "Life’s but a walking shadow" and "Tempus Fugit". Black furniture on white ground. Shows 8am to 6pm in half hours. Unusually the half hours are marked only on the semicircle around the gnomon root and not in the chapter ring.
