BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Shropshire

Mottoes read: "Use well these few bright (often?) fleeting hours" and "Veni, vide, vale". Shows 4am to 8pm in half and quarter hours. Skull and scythe decorations. Gnomon edge is bevelled. Near Elephant & Castle pub, in a small garden to the south-west of the church. Inset into capital of tapered circular section stone column with circular capital and two step circular plinth.
