BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Shropshire

The dial, standing by the path, is a Millenium restoration. It shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15 and 5 minute marks, and uses XII and IIII. Numerals are read from outside the dial. Noon gap. Sigmoidal gnomon shape. Three hole fixing. Set on repaired stone baluster pedestal on two step plinth. Partially shaded by nearby trees.
