BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Wiltshire

The dial is in the garden to the south of the school. It is a circular approximation to an elliptical analemmatic dial with star-like hour-dividing rays from the centre. These terminate in plaques of scenes from the past millennium, with children’s signatures in the rays. FThere are footprints to a date scale which appears to be approximate. The dial shows 4am to 8pm in hours, using XII and IIII, the numerals being incised into the stone as laid.
