BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Gloucestershire

The dial is set on a slender circular baluster pedestal with a circular capital and plinth, on the lawn to the south-east of the building. The m otto reads: "Quo Lux Ducit". The numerals, motto, symbol and compass are all gilded and the other furniture is white. Sheet gnomon, undercut. Shows 4am to 8pm in half and quarter hours. Inward half hour markers end in stars. EoT graph incorporates longitude correction. Split Noon line. Lat Long. College symbol. The inscription reads "Alastair MM Wilson 1917-1999 in Memoriam" and there is text around the edge of the dial about Mr Wilson.
