BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Bramcote Hills Park, Stapleford

The dial is not analemmatic nor a correct horizontal one. Numerals are laid out as for a horizontal dial yet the place given to stand (two footprints) is near to where the gnomon root would be and not on a scale of observers height as it should be for a human gnomon horizontal dial. There are short hour lines for 5am to 8pm, with Roman hour numerals only for VI, IX, XII, III and VI. Situated in the centre of a maze.
