BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Sundial Cottage, Kington Langley

The dial declines SE and has black incised lines on stone. Hours marked are V - + - IIII. in half and quarter hours. Crossed lines for half and quarter hours. Initials are AWT(?)W and the given date is 1685 which is consistent with the date of the core of the house. However there is doubt as to whether this dial was originally here since the cottage was originally a labourer’s one. Face at gnomon root with fish/dolphin below.
