BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church., Abbey Dore

Around a quoin of the South transept is a pair of dials carved into the masonry.This is an indication of antiquity and the dials may date back to the 17th century. The dial on the SW face has clear hour lines and the hours 3pm to 5pm are shown by Arabic numbers. It still has its iron gnomon. The other dial faces SW and shows the hours X - VII (using XII and IIII) but only two hour lines are visible.
