BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Motto reads: "It takes no more time to see the good side of life than it takes to see the bad". Shows 6am to 6pm in hours. Split Noon line. Uses XII and IV. Numerals vertically aligned. Motto in bottom third of dial plate. Sheet metal gnomon with curved underedge. Set in brick wall between windows. Dial plate obscures site of earlier dial. Apparently incorrectly aligned showing 3pm at 3:30pm BST in September.
